![]() First annihilate i always extended with mighty bash, this way its off CD later in fight.Constantly be moving in a big circle backwards, but keeping an eye on where the orbs are (need to move in cicle and not backwards or the infernals will launch you off).i pop incarn, drums and potion of unbridled fury and moonfire and get my 3 stacks of thrash, mangle/swipe where needed. One tip – if Varis is getting low and 2 new infernals came in, try and do some damage to them before moving to P2 if possible, not necessary, i tried to do this but think it just came down to RNG that timing worked for my kill run.Keep doing that order over and over until he is dead.Second time, cast regrowth on yourself or dot 2 of the nethers and cast barkskin and/or frenzied regen.First time, drop seed pod on varis, kill adds and incap roar, get out of the decay stuff and go back to moonfiring eyes, infernals and thrashing Varis from just outside of the circle to keep the stacks up.Cast regrowth or dot 2 of the nether guys to get aggro then charge into Varis.interrupt Variss with typhoon or skull bash.I'd open with starsurge, moonfire, sunfire into 2x starfall and then just spam wrath.Last 2 talents i never messed with, seems everyone goes those two.Again, galactic can work, but i always got to P2 with 2 infernals regardless, so figured my dps was holding me back in P2 so i planned for that Incarn – this was great to pop with drums and pot of unbridled fury, lay down some good dps quick.I honestly don't think i survive P2 without being able to do 2x mighty bash to slow down annihilates coming to do more dps before eventually dying Either way i got to P2 with 2 of the infernals so what's the point. Mighty bash – some like HotW, but i never liked it.Balance affinity is the only thing i tried cause everyone said it was best, but i've heard resto working.Wild charge – used this quite a lot to either get somewhere quickly to incap roar or to save myself from being thrown off platform.Brambles – never tried anything else, helps with adds.Talents: 1/3/1/1/3/2/1 some detail around what worked for me Unbridled fury was my 5th highest damage spell and it was only used for 1 minute in P2… so def use this. The combination of this… was essential for me. The two big ones are drums and potion of unbridled fury. I also used a healing potion during P2 just to top myself before an annihilate. I also used veiled augment rune, but not sure if i did on my last run, it only added a few agility and doesnt persist through death so i didn't always. The seed pod is super easy to farm, you can do it a few times per week and it takes like 5 min, emerald nightmare first boss (i'm such an amateur i had to ask how to change the raid difficulty to farm multiple times in general, if i can do it, you can too!)Įnchants: whatever was on my SL PVP gear BUT the big thing i did was lightless force enchant on the weapons, you can do it on both, this ended up being my 6th highest damage spell, so pretty important i think.Ĭonsumables: I used a flask for agility (not of currents cause too expensive) and the shadowcore oil on both weapons. Trinkets: first trinket was the seed pod (4th highest damage spell), second trinket the dragonling (8th/11th highest damage spell) which is engineering crafted and can be bought on the AH. I started this just to get them, I put one relic in it to raise the ilvl to 37 from 20, i would have put more but my AH didn't have any (dead server). Weapon: I used the Ursoc's claws that you get from the Druid class hall quest chain from Dalaran. Gear: SL PVP gear for everything but the weapon and trinkets Here is damage screenshot for anyone interested:Įxperience: Zero PVE experience, never tanked ![]() It's quite lengthy, but tried to be thorough, feel free to ask any questions while it's still fresh. I did want to share what worked for me below as I learned a lot from over the posts and wanted to give back to someone trying to get the ever so elusive fel werebear. It can be done MUCH faster, but I'm not a PVE'r, literally only PVP, and have never tanked. I finally did it! I beat the guardian druid mage tower after ~12-14 hours and 300+ pulls.
